Sue Acton

Programme Facilitator (Associate)

Sue joined Three Hands as an Associate in 2022 and contributes to our social insight programmes as a facilitator and writer.

With a background in financial services across both strategic and front-line roles, as well as lived experience of vulnerability, Sue is skilled at getting to the bottom of challenges faced by customers and drawing out ideas for improvement. She loves looking at things from different perspectives and finding ways to bridge the gap between the individual and the business.

Sue worked for Barclays for over ten years, holding senior roles in diversity, inclusion, and operations. More recently she was part of the vulnerable customer team at Monzo. She has experience of running a business and freelancing in the third sector and studied Psychology at Oxford.

Sue is a Trustee of debt advice charity StepChange. She loves dogs, travel, time with friends, an eclectic mix of music, and being outdoors. She aspires to campervan ownership.
