Three lived experts from our Research Community shared their powerful, personal experiences of being excluded from financial products as a result of debt, homelessness and disability.
They posed a number of questions which hit at the heart of the injustice of financial exclusion.
How did I get here?
Why aren’t I good enough?
What options are there for me?
The audience – over 200 people from financial services organisations, the public sector and civil society – was attentive, respectful and fired up.
The challenge then is how to turn this energy into action, so Michael wrote a blog for Fair4All Finance on six things that businesses can do to harness the power of lived experience to make real change.
